We had a blast on June 11th when Southern Oregon Sound Chorus sang the national anthem at the Medford Rogues baseball game! Fourteen chorus members participated. We wore bluejeans, red or dark blue tops and red, white and blue flag scarves and bows. This was the first ‘performance’ for many of our newer members and we all had fun. We got many positive comments from the crowd afterwards as well. Assistant Director Kim Clark and long-time member Rose Barr were even invited to watch the game from special La-Z-Boy recliners where they got a free drink as well! Even Rowdy, the Rogues mascot, stepped in for a photo op. We’re set to sing at the ballpark again on June 25th and we’re all looking forward to it.
