We had a great rehearsal on January 23rd! While only 10 members attended, we had all 4 parts and made good progress for learning 5 songs and a new tag! We worked with Kim along with learning tracks for each song at first. Then our special guest director, Bill Borah, stepped in to direct us without the tracks and helped each section to improve. The exciting news is that Bill has accepted the position of our full-time director! Kim will become assistant director and Bill will work with her as she completes her Director Certification Program training.
We're on our way to rebuilding Southern Oregon Sound and hope that we'll be ready for the competition stage again in the future. In the meantime, we'll continue to recruit new members, hone our skills with Bill's vast barbershop experience and teaching, and perform in the community whenever we can.
