It's that time of year when illness and vacations kept a few members from attending, but we still had many of our visitors join us for rehearsal last night.  We also welcomed two more visitors, Allie and Ronelle, who we hope will continue on with us after the holidays!  We focused on section rehearsals for our two holiday songs and by the end of the night we were sounding like a beautiful chorus.  There are some really lovely voices among our newbies and they're gaining confidence each week that they sing with us. 

The night started with laughter as we warmed up with the SAI 80's video.  It was somewhat appropriate as one of the physical exercises was the moves to Michael Jackson's Thriller and we had decided to celebrate Halloween last night since next week's rehearsal will not happen on the actual holiday.  The next rehearsal is scheduled for Tuesday November 7th, and Gail Hillyer from Northwest Harmony Chorus will be assisting in coaching us that evening along with Kim.  It's time to get serious about our techniques as our December 2nd performance will be upon us before we know it!
